In this new house I didn’t watch much TV, I was 15 years old and was in my last year of school and don’t remember what TV it was as I was out playing at a friend house most of the time but I know it was colour.
The only other tech in the house was a record player in the front room that was oddly devoid of any furniture, I’m not sure who owned it but I spent hours in there listening to what ever music albums there were, what I remember mostly was “The Platters” and “Neil Sedaka” I don’t remember if it even had a radio.
Sometime after leaving school at 16 years old I started my first job with a take home pay of about £17 per week, and shortly after that we moved to a very big flat above a pie shop.
