I do have 110mm negatives that were taken around 1977 so I know I had a 110mm camera that early but I don’t remember any other camera than one that had a cover that flipped around to create a steadying handle like this one.
I don’t remember the model I had but I’m sure it was a Kodak, I don’t think it was this Tele-Ektra 350 shown here it could have been any of the camera in the Kodak Tele Ektra range, but I do know it had a the dual lens system, I don’t remember where I got it but it was probably Dixons or Argos in town, I bought it with little knowledge of cameras but I wanted a camera for holidays and such.
Some of the photo sets taken with this camera were as follows.
- Sisters house 1979
- Grandparents house 1980
- Sisters Wedding 1980
- Grandads 70th Birthday
- Loch Lomond Holiday 1980
- Isle of Wight Holiday 1981
Back in the early 1980s I didn’t look after my negatives like I do now and a lot of my 110mm negative and prints have gone missing and most of the prints I still have were cut to fit and glued in to photo albums like these.
I don’t know what happened to this camera, but I do still have some of the prints and negatives taken with my 110 camera.
